Associate Accountant

Cullinan Properties, a leading commercial real estate management and development company, is seeking an Associate Accountant for its East Peoria, IL office.

This position will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and errands. Proficiency with MS Office and Quickbooks is required. Previous experience with MRI, Yardi, Sage Timberline or other real estate software accounting programs a plus.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of comparable experience in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent computer and communication skills, be detail oriented and apply critical thinking. Previous experience working with multiple entities and real estate development, property management or construction would be a plus.

Commercial Construction Project Manager

Cullinan Properties, a leading real estate developer with properties in Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Kansas and Georgia, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide detailed-level project management for a variety of development and construction projects that will include retail, medical, office and multi-family. The position will be based in our East Peoria, IL office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and/or development
  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline
  • LEED AP or BD+C Accreditation a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Project scheduling software
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Travel may be required

 Responsibilities for this Owner’s Representative position include:

  • Managing proformas and budgets
  • Negotiating and implementing A/E, GC and Client contracts and change orders
  • Managing project schedules
  • Leasing/tenant coordination
  • Municipality interface
  • Coordination of project meetings
  • Timely reporting of project status

Property Manager

We are seeking an energetic Property Manager for the Streets of St. Charles, an over 1 million sf mixed-use development, in St. Charles, MO and the Lofts at Euclid mixed-use development in the St. Louis Central West End. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation & marketing skills and experience in managing retail, multi-family, office and/or medical properties, in addition to having a strong financial background in budgets and financial analysis.  Join the Cullinan Properties team to be a part of the St. Louis area’s most exciting mixed-use developments!

Requirements:

  • Business oriented Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing retail, office, multi-family and/or medical properties

  • Employee and independent contractor supervision
  • Lease negotiation and administration background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in MRI and Microsoft Office preferred
  • IREM member with related coursework preferred
  • Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation and/or Missouri Real Estate License a plus

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and implementing management plans for revenue enhancement, cost control and upholding quality standards
  • Developing and monitoring property budgets
  • Performing sales & marketing activities necessary to lease available retail and residential properties
  • Developing and overseeing preparation of reports to ownership and investors
  • Recommending and executing specific strategies maximizing the value of each property
  • Ensuring all properties are properly maintained in a first class manner
  • Ensuring each property is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ordinances
  • Reviewing expenditures and procedures to reduce costs and increase efficiency as it pertains to budgets and daily operations
  • Maintaining close and positive relationships with tenants and vendors
