Administrative Assistant

Cullinan Properties, a leading commercial real estate management and development company, has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Administrative Assistant. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong proven organizational skills.  Duties include but are not limited to: general receptionist skills along with coordinating and assembling materials, taking meeting minutes, scheduling appointments, event planning, and performing internet research.  Must maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.  3+ years experience in a similar position.  Term of this temporary position will be early July, 2017 through January, 2018.  Hours Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Commercial Construction Project Manager

Cullinan Properties, a leading real estate developer with properties in Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Kansas and Georgia, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide detailed-level project management for a variety of development and construction projects that will include retail, medical, office and multi-family. The position will be based in our East Peoria, IL office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and/or development
  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline
  • LEED AP or BD+C Accreditation a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Project scheduling software
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Travel may be required

 Responsibilities for this Owner’s Representative position include:

  • Managing proformas and budgets
  • Negotiating and implementing A/E, GC and Client contracts and change orders
  • Managing project schedules
  • Leasing/tenant coordination
  • Municipality interface
  • Coordination of project meetings

Human Resources & Operations Assistant

Cullinan Properties, a leading commercial real estate developer, is seeking a Human Resources & Operations Assistant in its East Peoria, IL office.  Utilize your talents to provide administrative support to Acquisitions & Dispositions, Human Resources and Operations departments.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in human resources or administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or human resource management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, communication and writing skills with an excellent eye for detail.
  • Proven experience in event planning.
  • Experience in the field of real estate, banking or finance a plus.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide administrative support including managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, assembling meeting materials, preparing correspondence, completing & reviewing expense reports, copying/scanning and running errands.
  • Plan and implement employee team building events.
  • Prepare new hire orientation packets.
  • Assist with maintenance of employee files.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts.
  •  Maintain vacation schedules.
  • Audit employee files to meet compliance standards.
  • Assist with insurance renewals.
  • Coordinate annual performance review activities.
  • Track new development opportunities and assemble due diligence documents.
  • Must act discretely when working with highly confidential Human Resources information.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 7 years of retail and restaurant leasing experience with focus on small shop, power center, lifestyle center and out parcels
  • Strong national and regional tenant relationships
  • Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel required
  • ICSC member with related coursework preferred
  • Valid Illinois Real Estate license is required
  • Business oriented Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop leasing strategies and execute leasing activities for multiple assigned properties
  • Analyze leases on new projects and develop detailed summaries/recommendations
  • Negotiate leases and Purchase & Sale Agreements
  • Identify appropriate retailers and develop on-going retail relationships
  • Prepare and communicate detailed status reports of properties to ownership
  • Achieve leasing goals
  • Accountability
