PAPPO’S PIZZERIA & PUB COMING TO QUINCY MALL
(Peoria, IL – March 13, 2020) – Cullinan Properties, Ltd. announces that the popular PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub will open at Quincy Mall this summer. The restaurant specializes in fresh, stone-hearth oven baked pizza and craft beer. PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub currently has locations in Lake of the Ozarks, Columbia and Springfield, MO. Quincy Mall is their first Illinois restaurant location.
“We are so pleased with the foot traffic that Quincy Medical Group is already bringing to the mall,” stated Mike Jenkins, Property Manager for Quincy Mall. “One of the biggest draws for PaPPo’s locating at Quincy Mall was QMG, and we know it will be a terrific dining option for mall patrons and QMG’s staff and visitors.”
The restaurant’s diverse menu includes more than two dozen types of specialty and traditional pizzas, along with Apple Bourbon Pulled Pork. Calzones, sandwiches, salads, award-winning oven baked wings, homemade breadsticks, and their famous Pizookie, a baked-to-order brown butter chocolate chip cookie, complete the menu. PaPPo’s will also have 32 craft beers on tap – both small batch brewed house beers and guest beers. Diners can enjoy a warm, lively atmosphere with TVs to watch favorite sporting events and enjoy live music on weekends. The restaurant is expected to bring new jobs to Quincy, employing 50-60 people.
“Everything we serve is made from scratch using PaPPo’s founder “Pappo” Chris Galloway’s family recipes,” stated Jim May, PaPPo’s franchise owner. “PaPPo’s uses many of the same concepts and techniques used in traditional Italian cooking, as his mother’s family, the Santantonios, was from Italy. I’m thrilled to be bringing this quality product to my hometown of Quincy.”

On March 2, Quincy Medical Group opened the first phase of its new facility in the former Bergner’s space at the mall. As part of a phased opening, the second-floor surgery center is expected to open in late Fall. The state-of-the-art facility offers comprehensive oncology care to area patients.
PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub will occupy the current Que Town Bar-B-Que space. Cullinan Properties is having continued discussions with Que Town BBQ owner, Dave French, about relocating his restaurant within the mall.
