QUINCY UNITED SOCCER CLUB OPENS TRAINING FACILITY AT QUINCY MALL
(Quincy, IL – January 2, 2020) – Cullinan Properties, Ltd. is pleased to announce the opening of an indoor soccer training facility at Quincy Mall through Quincy United Soccer Club. Occupying a 3,424 SF space next to Hibbett Sports, the area will be used for technical and developmental training.
Quincy United Soccer Club is the premier youth soccer organization in Quincy and provides area youth a chance to play competitive soccer in a fun and challenging environment. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the club offers programs for various levels of competition, from teaching soccer fundamentals to offering competitive traveling programs.
“This space will not only provide a training location for Quincy United families, but also give us an opportunity to offer technical training to the community,” stated Cody Smith, Director of Coaching for Quincy United Soccer Club. “Our hope is that this facility will introduce more people to Quincy United Soccer Club and Quincy Mall.”
“Quincy United’s facility will bring many families to the mall, which will have a positive effect on our other tenants,” stated Michael Jenkins, Property Manager for Quincy Mall. “We’re thrilled to welcome innovative uses of mall space like Quincy United that complement retail, while attracting customers to Quincy Mall.”
2020 will also welcome Quincy Medical Group to Quincy Mall, occupying the former Bergner’s space. Construction in the space is well underway, and it is expected that the first floor cancer center will open Spring 2020 and the second floor surgery center in late Fall.
