(Peoria, IL, December 16, 2016) – Streets of St. Charles expands its lineup of retailers with the addition of Olivino, a specialty shop and tasting bar offering high quality olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and other unique cooking items. Owner Debrah Baker-Oliver opened her doors this week, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Olivino carries ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) from around the world and balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy. The store carries gourmet food items and gifts from local vendors and artists, along with specialty items such as rubs, salts, seasonings, olives, pasta, and a variety of unique serving dishes. Patrons are invited to sample the oils and balsamics from the tasting bar prior to purchasing. Gift baskets and gift certificates are also available.

“Streets of St. Charles is an active vibrant location with a great deal of foot traffic,” said Baker-Oliver. “There’s a wonderful energy that’s present here, and the other shops, restaurants and businesses really complement a visitor’s experience, making this an ideal place to open our store.”

Olivino will also offer special events featuring private cooking demonstrations to highlight the health benefits of olive oil, and best use of the products in cooking and baking. Future plans call for the addition of local wines from her private vineyard, Triple 3 Vineyard which is located in Washington, Missouri.

Olivino joins existing shops Leopard Boutique, MOD, and Sole & Blues at Streets of St. Charles, and occupies 1,585 square feet of space on Beale Street. Other recent additions to the property include Orangetheory Fitness, Think Pink Nail & Spa, and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. Construction on the new Drury Hotel is well underway, with a grand opening scheduled for Summer 2017. Additional tenants are expected to be announced in the coming months.

(Peoria, IL – October 13, 2016) – Diane Cullinan Oberhelman, Chairman of Cullinan Properties, announced today that Cullinan’s portfolio continues to expand as the company aggressively moves forward with new projects in the retail, office, medical, and multi-family sectors throughout the Midwest and Texas. With the expansion, Cullinan Properties also announces promotions and the addition of key executives to its leadership team.

Included in the expansion is a recently acquired 265-acre site located in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of I-55 and I-80 in Joliet, IL. A mixed-use development encompassing retail, office, entertainment, hotel and multi-family components is planned for this super regional site named Rock Run Crossings. Cullinan Properties also recently opened a 3 story, 100 person, student housing complex in Peoria, Illinois, as well as a 6 story mixed-use development, known as Lofts at Euclid, that features 87 luxury residential loft apartments and 8,500 sf of street level retail and restaurant space in the Central West End of St. Louis, Missouri. Cullinan Properties also continues to enhance its real estate portfolio with medical and general service administration projects. As part of the growth, Cullinan Properties, which employs over 145, is adding additional team members and has promoted and added key executives to its leadership team. Christopher M. West has been promoted from Partner/Chief Operating Officer to Partner/Chief Executive Officer and Sean R. Garrett from Vice President of Investments to President of Acquisitions and Director of Community Relations. Sean will serve in this new capacity until January 2019, at which time he will be named Chief Operating Officer. Sean Garrett will work alongside Chris West on aligning resources for the future and defining critical success factors for Cullinan Properties management going forward.

Chris West began his association with Cullinan Properties in early 2002 as the leader of Urban Retail Properties’ development of the Shoppes at Grand Prairie. After Urban’s acquisition in 2002, Chris formed CW Development Services to complete the Shoppes of Grand Prairie project for Cullinan Properties. West later joined Cullinan Properties as Partner and Group President. In 2010, West was appointed Chief Operating Officer for the company. As Partner/CEO, West will lead the organization’s day-to-day management decisions and implement the Company’s long and short term plans. He also maintains his leadership of the construction division of Cullinan Properties and oversight of Cullinan Properties’ Chicago office.

Sean presently serves as Secretary on the board of the Central Illinois BizPAC and is a Peoria CEO Council committee member. ORANGETHEORY FITNESS OPENS AT STREETS OF ST. CHARLES

 

(Peoria, IL, September 2, 2016) – The newest Orangetheory Fitness in the United States opened at Streets of St. Charles on Thursday, September 1, 2016. The studio is owned and operated by St. Charles Studio, LLC, and is the fourth location in the St. Louis metropolitan area for the fast-growing fitness franchise. The event was celebrated with a ribbon cutting event Thursday evening.

 

Orangetheory began holding preview classes for members in August. The 60-minute sessions are designed around the philosophy of moving participants into the Orange Zone, creating “Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption,” or EPOC which helps burn calories after each workout. The sessions are guided by an instructor, and include three components: treadmill interval training blocks, indoor rowing and weight room or resistance training blocks. All fitness levels are welcome, and various membership packages are available.

DRURY INN AND SUITES MARKS CONSTRUCTION MILESTONE AT NEW STREETS OF ST. CHARLES LOCATION

 

(St. Charles, August 16, 2016) – Construction of the new 180-room Drury Inn and Suites and an additional 300-car parking deck at Streets of St. Charles are both currently underway. The concrete pour for the first level of the new 7-story hotel is being completed this Friday morning, August 19th.  To celebrate the construction milestone on Friday, Streets of St. Charles will host a “first pour” gathering of representatives from Drury, Cullinan Properties and the City of St. Charles.

Drury currently owns 20 hotels in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. The August concert will take place on Wednesday, August 10th from 6 pm to 8 pm, and is free and open to the public.

Streets of St. Charles and Y98 to Kick Off Summer Concert Series May 11th with Dr. Zhivegas

Monthly StreetsFest Live Concerts on Beale Street will run May through September

(St. Charles, MO, April 19, 2016) – The Streets of St. Charles teams up with Y98 and the Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau in 2016 to continue its summer concert series tradition. Dubbed the StreetsFest Beale Street Concert Series, the outdoor monthly live music events will take place on Beale Street the second Wednesday of each month, from May through September. Concerts are free and open to the public. Featuring Dr. Zhivegas, the first concert of this year’s series will be held on Beale Street on May 11th from 6pm to 8pm.

“True to its name’s sake, Beale Street, is a wonderful place to enjoy the combined energy of good friends, great music and variety of dining choices,” said Robey Taylor, property manager at Streets of St. Charles. “We’ve become known for a special kind of vibe here that really comes alive with the StreetsFest Beale Street Concert Series. Drury Inn & Suites Begins Construction at Streets of St. Charles

(Peoria, IL, March 15, 2016) – Cullinan Properties has announced the upcoming construction of a new 7-story, 180-room Drury Inn and Suites hotel which will be joining the Streets of St Charles at the north end of the center along I-70 at South Fifth Street. In addition to the hotel, a second parking deck will be added to the mixed-use project which will feature 300+ spaces and will provide hotel guests convenient covered parking access directly connected to the lower level hotel entrance. Construction of the parking deck is already underway, and the groundbreaking for the hotel is scheduled for early April, with an anticipated opening of both the hotel and parking deck in the summer 2017.

Drury currently owns 20 hotels in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. The Drury Inn and Suites at Streets of St. Charles will feature King and Queen guest rooms, as well as deluxe, two-room suites which include a bedroom separated by a door from the living area. The hotel will offer guests a wide variety of amenities, including meeting spaces, a unique indoor/outdoor pool, as well as free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, and evening drink and snacks. Orangetheory Fitness to Open New Location at Streets of St. Charles

(Peoria, IL, March 7, 2016) – Streets of St. Charles will welcome a new tenant to its mixed-use development located at Interstate 70 and South Fifth Street in St. Charles, Missouri. New Hotel To Be Developed in Pekin
